On Sunday night the Justice Department was granted access to view the House Intelligence Committee memo known as the ‘Nunes Memo’. In unusual timing, last night FBI Director Christopher Wray went to the secure facility (SCIF) in the basement of the House of Representatives to view the content of the House Intel Committee memo.
Today, the FBI releases an announcement saying Deputy FBI Director Andrew “Andy” McCabe has stepped down (been removed) from his position effective immediately.

Think about it. The Nunes memo was available to congress for over a week, and not a single -substantive- material leak came out. Yet, within HOURS of the Justice Department having access to the memo, the New York Times is writing about specific details contained within the memo:

, it is not coincidental that now the Justice Department has had an opportunity to preview the Nunes memo content, we begin seeing leaks about it in the New York Times.
The Black Hat operatives within the DOJ and FBI are desperate to get out ahead of the stories.

Wouldn't it be a nice bit of karma if McCabe was fired for cause before he runs out the clock and retires with full pension and benefits.

McCabe was not an appointee. He has been a civil service employee. He was placed in a position. He has stepped down/has been removed from that position. His civil service status continues until March because of accumulated leave, etc. At that time he officially “retires” with his benefits. This is a process that has to unfold in a certain way.
He has not been charged with any malfeasance.
It is difficult for those who have never been involved with civil service to understand. Doing it right is more important than slaking our impatience.
You're right. But a perp walk would be awfully nice to watch. Having these guys in handcuffs would be such a visual treat. We could probably smell the fear in DC all the way up here.

Not yet. I'd be willing to bet that in the near future, we'll learn that he was at a minimum derelict in his duties - at least concerning the Clinton email investigation, but likely more - if not criminal in his part in suppressing and distroying evidence, improperly handling witnesses (Mills present at Clinton's questioning, immunity passed out like candy, etc.) and not disclosing the conflict of interest in regard to his wife's campaign contributions.
I'm not calling for torches and pitchforks, just wishfully hoping the wheels of justice would roll a little quicker.

McCabe will likely be FIRED in the next few days, or at least when the memo is released. Evidence tampering. Rank and file Agents have been talking to the IG for months and McCabe made them change facts in their reports. The IG report is the one I would like to read.
