“She doesn’t deserve to be a state senator in our state.”
Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson spoke to NewsTalk KZRG’s Sean Hannity Monday (8/21) about State Senator Maria Chapelle-Nadal and her comment last week that she wanted President Trump to be assassinated.
“Any time you make a comment that you want the President of the Unites States to be assassinated, it’s just not acceptable and it’s not excusable in this state.”
Parson says a Missouri Senator hasn’t been removed from office since 1945, but this occasion warrants Chapelle-Nadal’s removal. “Any time that a sitting state senator, no matter where you are, and you ask for the assassination of the President of the United States, it’s almost to the highest level of when we should use this.”
Chapelle-Nadal has apologized (SHE AIN'T SORRY) for her remark, but insists she won’t resign from the Missouri Senate.
