I swapped it out from my old setup which was the Cloud Defensive LCS, Surefire ST07, and the Arisaka In-Line Mlok Mount. I have pictures from all angles of the old setup and the new for comparisons, but I don’t want to blow up the post with a bunch of pictures and make it obnoxious if people are not interested. But if anyone does want to see them, let me know and I’ll gladly throw them up on here for you guys.

Here’s the new setup as it stands now with the Modlite Modbutton. I will be changing to a Modlite PLHv2 or the OKW in the future (not sure which one yet). So I might be adding an adapter that will extend the light further out if I go with the smaller 18350 option. Which is most likely what I’ll do since the larger 18650 sized body takes up a good amount of real estate on the shorter 9” rail.

I'm not generally a fan of Kryptek but that... looks awesome!
PS I'm not sure I ever thought of mounting a light in that position.... interesting idea.

What color paint is that? Awesome color.
It’s not exactly Kryptek but it resembles it a little bit. I sprayed that myself with spray paint, a laundry bag, and some string. Works really well! I like that worn look when the paint starts to come off after turning the gun for a while. As for mounting the light, I try to mount the light as far forward as possible. It minimizes the casting of shadows and puts as much light downrange as possible.I'm not generally a fan of Kryptek but that... looks awesome!

Yeah, I got notified from Modlite the day before they released it. So I knew when they were going on sale. Jumped on it quick. They sold out pretty fast.
Yea I just checked the first batch is sold out next wont be available until april 10th.. I like the small footprint of the button
Yeah, most people only use the same small section of the pressure pad anyway. Like the Surefire ST07, I wasn’t using the the front of the pad sometimes, then the middle, then the back...my thumb always landed on the same spot. So essentially it was wasted rail space and added weight. Now the ModButton is exactly where my thumbs lands every time and more low profile.
