My 2nd real EDC knife

Since i had to paint my Spyderco Paramilitary pink and put it in my wife's purse, after the body grooming comments. I bought a new toy to share. After 48 years on this planet and making due with cheapo pocket knifes, this is a uncommon occurrence. I bought two in a week.. This is how my gun addiction started, so I expect to go downhill quick. The wife's overtime money allowed me to buy a Zero Tollerance 350. I'm really likening the assist on this one and the stripes. It has some weight to it and a solid feel.

You are not wasting any time on the high end EDC train are you? Careful now, there are so many really nice knives out there. That said if you are going to add a third to your growing collection may I suggest this?

Excellent knife, extremely light, especially for a 3.75 inch blade. Disappears in the pocket and it seems to get less noticed by the sheeple.

That knife made me hard! I'm guessing it's extremely expensive. Just checked it out, just under my limit! Oh why does it have to be a lockback!? I would have straight ordered it just now otherwise.

No, I can do up to around $200. That's the arbitrary limit I've placed on myself. I may one day break that limit for a Sebenza though.

Sebenza is good, is the benchmark, but many have surpassed it since. You definitely want to, and will break arbitrary limits such as $200 if and when you come across some finely put together blades. Steel, handle, bearings, etc., all add to cost. Come on now, step it up!

Any ZT is nice, they make nice knives and the Onion editions to boot are well worth their salt!

I wholly disagree with the notion that the Sebenza has been "surpassed". While there are flashier knives, true, what sets the Sebenza apart from other high end semi-production knives is its simple elegance and a form that does not intrude on function. It is a knife made to be used and lacks the functional idiosyncrasies of its Hinderer and Strider competitors.
