My Mossberg 500 and Ruger PCC coolification project

So in the spirit of @Sixbennetts's epic and on going Shockwave project, I've been inspired to follow suit as it were, to turn my garden variety Mossberg 500 with synthetic stock into something more. As I've stated before, I am emulating sixbennetts work but I am not trying to straight up copy him. I may use some of the same parts, but I hope to do different things or designs (looks) with them.

So far I have bought and installed the TacStar pistol grip adaptor and just for visual and test feel installed an A2 grip and a fixed AR15 stock.
I have on order a carbine buffer tube which I will mate up with a six position stock I have waiting here. I also have a no name minimalist stock(see photo), which I may also use, but I'm not yet sold on that look for this gun.
I am also currently working to purchase a ready to stain A1 pistol grip( so, like the one pictured, just without the finger groove).
The stain I plan to use for the wood (I'm going to strip the forend and restain it) is Minwax "Gunstock".
I haven't figured out a sling yet.
I like the light solution Sixbennetts has going on, so I may borrow that or try to find something similar.

Also, dumb question...does anyone know if it would be legal and possible for me to put an 8 round capacity magazine tube on this shotgun. It currently has a 5 round mag tube and I like the look of both the barrel and mag tube being the same lenght. Plus I want the extra capacity.
Well, comments and suggestions welcome.
I am headed out west middle of next week so I won't be fully diving into this until after I come back.

Same for the tube magazine, 10 round limit, just like detachable mags, but I'm not sure where I read that. Add an Opsol 2.0, and use minishells like I do. They function perfectly, and give me 10 rounds in the tube on a Shockwave. You'd probably get 12. That's a lotta firepower in a pump.

I had the same setup on my HD Moss500. I didn't like that I had to lose my grip to take the gun off safe so I went back to the old stock ( just my preference.)

Yes, it is legal to have the 8rd mag tube (but not in NYC). You will need to buy the new barrel with the 8rd mag tube because the mounting point changes on the barrel. It's not like a Rem 870 where you can just add a mag tube ext. Moss500 used a mounting bolt. Rem and Win uses a nut.

Yeah. Brownells has a kit and the parts are all out there separately but the price works out the same. Bummer is it's the blued finish and not the matte.

I just got through installing a Maverick 88 trigger group into my Shockwave project. It has a cross bolt safety like on a Remington, so it's easy to snick it left-right without breaking your grip. Really easy, just drops right in. I also installed a gold Mossberg trigger into that Mav 88 trigger group. That was NOT just a drop in!

I've bought a few Mossberg parts from Sonny Glassman Firearms on ebay. You can get a brand new Maverick 88 trigger group from him for only $40 on ebay.

Did the same with my 500 a while ago. Hated the way the pistol grip impeded running the safety, so I went with a Magpul SGA and love it.

That's what I was thinking.

I am, however, getting into this whole idea of getting everything scary we can get our hands on that won't send us to jail. If it weren't for the money i would have 37mm launchers already installed on my featureless AR's. Someday....
