Thinking of using a .410GA Complete AR-15 Upper Receiver on a virgin receiver with a pistol stabilizer. I might shorten the barrel to 12” and put a VFG on it also. What are your thoughts? This would legally be classified as an other and since the upper is not rifled as it is a smooth bore barrel, it can’t be considered a SBR.

If you are gonna go with a Firearm/Other, why not a rifle caliber? .410’s are weak sauce.

I think you do what you do, And you don’t advertise what you did. Maybe do it on the 308 frame and make it a 12 gauge.

Talk to me more about a .410 AR. I've wanted a 410 for a while, but haven't been able to justify the price for what you get. One based on the AR platform sounds awesome, though.

There is a .410 ARUM upper that fits the standard AR15 platform lower. I've seen it anywhere from $300 to $400 and was considering it but the reliability reviews are all over the map.
