They should fight it going the other way too.
Not only wasn't it accessible, it wasn't concealed.
If an officer can tell you have a gun without a search, then it isn't concealed IMHO.
Take that decision to the Supreme Court and see if we can get the Sullivan act ruled unconstitutional as well.

Was the gun in the box loaded and is that a necessary element of the charge?
