I've been to New Orleans twice and it's definitely not the cleanest or safest place I've ever been (that's saying it nicely), but the food is so damn good (and I can carry there) so I would go back. I stayed in the French Quarter last time and visited one of the coolest shops I've ever been to. They had wall to wall antique firearms, knives, swords, etc. Some really cool stuff, would probably go back just for that tbh. Even crazier, last time I went there that wacko with the machete did that shit in the airport, while I was still in the air landing there. We landed and they rushed everyone out of the airport before we could get our luggage, without telling us wtf happened.
