They go for stupid money for a polymer gun. If you find a Leo trade you can get them for a reasonable (in my opinion) price. They say you can shoot .45 super with no modification but I still tweaked it a bit.

How's the recoil compared to ACP loads?

The 160 gr felt like a warm acp. The 255 gr hard cast hunting loads will wake you up a bit. Nothing all that bad though.

Is the .45 Super and the .450 SMC interchangeable. Meaning you can load either or?

Yes. Smc is only loaded by double tap though. They say any plus p rated .45 can shoot it. I would still add a heavier recoil spring though.
