Nikon SuperDot...anyone have experience with them? I need a red dot.

I'm in the market for a red dot to mount on an AR or PCC . I'm looking at the Nikon SuperDot ( $129 @ Europtics). the Sig Romeo MSR at Palmetto ( $99) , the Sig Romeo5 $139, or the Spark AR 2 around $150 . Primary Arms has a bunch of options as well.

I have a Spark AR and it seems to be fine. Not looking to spend more than $200.

I don't have BUIS on my rifle so co witness is not a concern. the Sig MSR only comes with a high mount so it is not as versatile as some others. Low mounts are available which would be better for the PCC.

With so many choices, its hard to pick one.

Nikon got out of the Scope market so that is why they are going cheap now a days. I have only used the warranty once with Nikon out of about 50 or so of their scopes I own. But now Nikon is most likely to offer a credit to you to get one of the other type optics they still produce.

The Nikons are $199 on most websites and still listed on the Nikon site.
Most of the Red Dots are about the same cost when not on sale.
Sigs only have a 5yr warranty on the internals, .

The Nikon only has a 5 year warranty as well P-TACTICAL SUPERDOT from Nikon

just because it is listed doesn’t mean they still produce them. They still have rifle scopes listed even though they put out last year they were stopping production of rifle scopes. Rifle Scopes from Nikon

I just recently mounted a pair of Vortex Venom's on (6MOA) on my M&P 40/9 conversion and it mate the M&P 22, Lifetime warranty, had to send one back they sent me a new one right back. Also have a 3MOA Venom now on the Ruger PCC 9, replacing a Sig Romeo 5 that is now co-witnessed on a 10/22 with Tech-Sights.

Green would be nice. It's funny how you can get multi colors in the cheap Red Dots or the real high-end ones only

Looks like the Romeo5 is a good option...

Look into the Holosuns. They are making great products. If budget is the biggest concern the Romeo 5 is made by Holosun.
