Words like "racist," "sexist," "homophobe," "Islamaphobe," "white supremacist," and especially "Nazi," and "fascist" are thrown around so much these days that the terms are almost utterly meaningless.
My employer has called me a sexist member of the patriarchy (that's another favorite term of mine) to my face several times. I guess a man having an opinion different than a woman is sexist these days even if you do bring up your position in a respectful and tactful way. Mind you growing up I used to get beat up in the locker room by older boys who liked to call me pussy and fag because I was overweight and wasn't good at sports. Honestly, never in my entire life have I ever been considered a "man's man" or even an overly masculine guy. It's really quite amusing if you think about it because at various points in my life I've either been a pussy fag or sexist male chauvinist pig. As far as I'm aware my personality, personal decorum and actions haven't changed one bit and I really don't think you can be both at the same time.
I recall being called a racist, Nazi fascist only once. This was back when I was in college when I got into an argument with an uber liberal left wing chick (and this was back when I was far more liberal than I am now). She still wound up blowing me later that weekend for what it's worth. Now that I think about it, maybe I should go back to being a "racist, Nazi fascist."

I call BS on these stats. They don't even make any sense. 26.6 million Soviet people were killed during Hitler's invasion of Russia alone, military and civilian casualties. That's just Russia. Stalin didn't kill 14-24 million people. 4 to 5 million at the most died in Stalin's purges. Tribal knowledge based on cold war propaganda doesn't make a strong argument.

At the time our propaganda was focused on minimizing Soviet role in defeating Nazi Germany. "Equal-evil" and "bigger-evil" propaganda blitzkrieg took off after the collapse of the Soviet Union to facilitate expansion of NATO into Eastern Europe. Stalin was condemned for his crimes in the Soviet Union in mid 1950's. From that time up to collapse of the Soviet Union everything came out, including Katyn. Russians opened their WWII archives. We still keep ours a secret. Learning history written by Russian authors paid by CIA grants under the banner of open society, is like learning about U.S. Constitution based on drivel of Nancy Pelosi.
World history and geography are not mandatory subject in American schools. There are no longer historical documentaries to speak of on television. Half of the Civil War generation was declared as traitors almost overnight. So tell me about who is engaged in revisionist history.

History is an account based on documented facts, not books written to serve an agenda. Soviet archives of WWII and prior era are open for historians to study. Nothing that actually happened is being denied. Russians invite historians to debate and show factual evidence. Tribal knowledge is quickly shuttered when people are confronted with documented facts.

Soviets kept documents secret and inaccessible, but there was hell to pay for inaccuracies of what they contained whether it was done knowingly or inadvertently. These documents were not meant to become public ever, it was for internal use and investigations. Their authenticity was not even challenged. Dating documents is a simple science.

The standard for accusing someone of treason or being a saboteur or agitator was low to almost nonexistent, but the facts and evidence had to be accurate or accusers themselves could end up being charged with the same crimes, ..... and many of them were. One could be accused of spreading anti-Soviet propaganda by simply possessing certain books, but it was a crime to lie about which books were actually found and enter such lies into evidence.

Of course figures get very fuzzy, last I knew the World Jewish Congress doubted more than 5.25 million Jewish Europeans were murdered during WW2 by the Third Reich and their allies, you try publicly saying less than 6 million were murdered and you will be a pariah, of course all innocent people murdered is wrong, but in a debate like this numbers matter a great deal.
I will note that Pol-Pot was actually anti-commie which is why the US supported him, but my point was that their civil war was the effect of the spread of the communist conspiracy.
