Bump stocks are the least of our worries in NY with the SFB we have in Albany. Don't think a bump stock would work on my Win 70 anyways.

I could careless about bump stocks I’m just worried if this happened what else could happen? Why did he do it? Makes zero sense.
I just do t like to see them ban anything. Especially something used in a crime once. Scares the hell out of me. Also how does he just have the justice department ban them. What else can the justice department arbitrarily ban. Scary times.

I don't agree. I care enough about bump stocks that I don't want them or anything else gun related, banned. This will help set precedent for blue states to start banning different trigger systems such as binary triggers and lightweight triggers that can be fired quicker. This is really bad, equally as bad as any other gun related ban. To all the people like, "I'd rather he ban bump stocks because I don't like or use one", you're missing the point entirely. We never get anything in return or back for stripping more gun rights away. There's never been a trade off for this kind of horseshit. All you're getting here is more illegal infringements of your rights.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t like bump stocks and would never buy one, but I don’t think they should be banned. I don’t like them because I think they are a waiste of ammo not because they are dangerous.
I do feel banning these opens the door to banning a lot of things. Oh that trigger is more comfortable and the trigger bar makes your pistol trigger reset faster bang that’s a machine gun now. Dangerous precedent and I don’t like it one bit.
