NY State Hires 19 Immigration Attorneys

New York has hired 19 attorneys to provide full-time legal assistance at no cost to immigrants in every region across the state in conjunction with the Office for New Americans, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday.

Those attorneys, who were not named in the announcement from Cuomo, will each provide legal representation to a caseload of up to 20 clients at a time, and will help immigrants with a wide range of issues, like visas, work permits and family-based immigration.

Cuomo said the new attorneys are part of the state’s response to proposed federal immigration policies from President Donald Trump, including a wall along the southern border.

"Office for New Americans"? No, it isn't. It is the "Office for Protecting and Coddling future Democrat Voters" and it seems as though it is a blatant waste of tax dollars and gov't resources. Taxation without representation is alive and well and fiscal responsibility died quietly in the darkness.
