Was in NYC last night and cruised through Rockefeller Center. Saw these guys and snapped a quick pic walking past them (sorry the pic sucks but I don’t like to ask guys on the job to pose). The 2 guys wearing helmets had patrol rifles/ARs and the 3 of them in constant scan mode. Was good to see.

starting last week we now have monitory car inspection and now there is a Bomb sniffing dog everyday doing laps around all cars as the enter the parkin g lot!

Yesterday there were no AR's in sight but three horse cops on front of my building.
At random times you'll see 20-30 ESU types milling about with 6-8 vehicles on my block. Other times not even a meter maid.
Useless and makes me feel less, not more, safe. I'd rather see those horse cops do crowd control at 5:00 when I try to leave for home and nearly get funneled into traffic by the slack jawed, mouth breathing, window licking tourists who have never seen a building taller than two stories.
