*Class Description: This course will give the trainee a unique knowledge of the state Use of Force law to aide in the decision process of whether or not to employ force, and what force is justified under specific circumstances. The responsibility to make proper decisions regarding the Use of Force is an ever-present reality and is not lessened by the fact that the armed citizen must make these decisions under the worst of circumstances. *Additional information provided in your registration link.
*Instructor's Credentials*
-Mr. Ken Cooper: A recognized Use of Force expert, qualified by; New York State Supreme Court, Brooklyn Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, Southern and Northern Division, Florida Circuit Court, the High Court in Hong Kong. Having consulted /testified in over 100 Use of Force cases, Including the Amadou Diallo Trial in 2000. Ken is also the author of the Ulster County Safety Program for the New York State Pistol License.
-Demosthene Romanucci Esq.: A Criminal Defense Attorney and New York State Certified General Topics Instructor. Mr. Romanucci has been instructing the P.A.L. class for over 20 years, and has a successful Law Practice in Albany NY.
-Mr. John Jenerose: Has recently retired from the City of Newburgh as a Police Officer, has been a New York State Firearms and General Topics Instructor for the past 24 years, he's an FBI trained forensic photographer and has used his skills in a number of court cases.
