NYS gives $2million dollars of confiscated money to erie county to confiscate more money

This is great. We took money from a settlement and now we’re using that money to go after other businesses to get more money. I get it if people do wrong and I’m glad it’s not my taxes going up but this doesn’t sit well with me. This is especially concerning since they seem to target their political opponents more and more these days.

The money was originally paid to the state after an investigation by the New York Attorney General's Office led to the shutdown of several collections companies.

Maybe we should target them? Make it unpalatable to even be a politician? That's a thought.

If we stop paying taxes in NYS then they can’t pass a budget. No budget no paycheck for anyone but the governor. No paycheck would count as unpalatable IMO. It has to be more than a few of us though.
