I wondered the same thing. (I'm assuming the guns belong to the parents.) Would be interesting to find out where the guns were, and what kind of access she had to them. One article implied they were in her room, but another just said in the home. To each their own, but mine are in a safe, and they'll stay there unless being used. I'm pretty sure my kids are fine, but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way.
