Up to four gun bills that were entered on Jan 23rd. It is almost like they read the gun laws in CA and decided to pile them on here.

We haven't even gotten to the laws that FUAC wants to put in yet.

I said it before......they couldn't get a data base established for ammo background checks.....how are they going to create and enable a data base that ties every FFL in the state to one another? Some FFL's don't even have or use computers. They can pass this but I don't see how they can implement it.

enforcement...thats the key and your right...they cant put a database together now for other items how they gonna do this too..

I could swear that POS Cuomo wanted to put in a maximum of owning three guns back after Sandy Hook? Thank the lord I'm out of NY. But every day, new laws are on the horizon, even here in the "Gunshine State" of Florida. Hell, there's already a waiting period in my county. NY was so bad that I'm almost not that mad about it.

Handguns are only considered firearms if they're not on a permit.

ok thats good as that is what I wanted to get alot with a tuarus spectrum to replace my LCP for EDC......

the LCP not fun to shoot but granted thats not the point of it but still.......no sights and what not with the LCP its only good if your 2 feet away as I can see myself missed my target.

Newsom’s election has given similar hope to state Sen. Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada Flintridge), who has re-introduced a measure vetoed by Brown that would limit Californians to buying no more than one rifle or shotgun a month.

Brown vetoed similar bills, including in 2015 when he said, “Given California’s stringent laws restricting gun ownership, I do not believe this additional restriction is needed.”

Portantino said his revived proposal is needed to prevent straw purchases, in which an eligible owner buys many guns and then sells them to people not authorized to possess firearms. In one recent year, sales to individuals ranging from five to 54 long guns per month occurred on 1,787 occasions — totaling 12,090 guns, he said.

“California may be a Western state, but it’s no longer the Wild West,” Portantino said. “A person shouldn’t be able to walk into a gun store and come out with an arsenal. This issue was just too important to not give it a fresh try with a new governor in office.”

There’s every indication that Newsom will back all of these bills.

In other words, our Californian friends are about to have a whole lot more difficulty added to their lives.
