I have been in LA (Louisiana) for a week now. Nice to see all the real capacity mags and real rifles for sale here. LA is an open carry state, it is nice see people walking around with a handgun on their hip all over the place. I have seen a lot of Glocks in kydex holsters but I have not seen many spare mags being carried with them. A mistake in my book. Sure they may have 17 rounds in the gun and hopefully they never need that many rounds to fix a bad situation. My thoughts on spare mags is just like a lot of things I believe in having spares around. One is none and two is one, when you need it the most it will fail. Having only the mag in the gun leaves you open to Murphy's law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong." One out of battery firing, case failure or an accidental press of the mag release can take your mag and your gun out of action.
