Orange county pistol permit timeframe

I'm new to guns and this forum so I apologize if I'm doing this wrong but I'm in the process of getting my pistol permit in orange county. I started the process in March, got all my papers they require in and had my final interview May 18th. I was wondering if anyone might have a guesstimate on when I might expect a response.

Yeah that's what I hear, I just don't know when the clock starts lol but thanks for the reply, much appreciated! Guess I'll just have to keep waiting and banging my head against the wall!

I guess it's been going quick, what's a couple more months I guess.

Do people still say that's a mistake? That's what I am going for and was told I should do by friends in law enforcement. What happened, were you denied and had to appeal it?

It's not a mistake. The 2 people I know who just permits got unrestricted. The judges signing permits now have a reputation for giving unrestricted.

no got my permit on the first try just that a local deputy told me that they scrutinize unrestricted more than others don't know if it's true or not but my wife and I started the process at the same time she got hers in a few months and as stated it took me 11
