When I was much younger I was in LE and I was the Sniper on our SWAT Team.
I have been on many Presidential Details.
At the end of the Presidents visit, once the POTUS arrived back at Air Force One the Local PD that worked the detail with the Secret Service would line up at Air Force One, and the President and the First Lady would shake our hands and thank us.
I met Rosalind and Jimmy Carter. The Fords, and yes I saw him trip one time because his shoes are like size 13.
I met Ronald and Nancy Reagan, my last detail before being transferred into Narcotics was being place directly above Jimmy Carter with a Remington 700 and AR-15.
Today as I was watching the Trump Gala, I gotta say, that until tonight, it was a tie between Rosalind Carter and Nancy Reagan as the most elegant First Lady. I really thought that Rosalind was HOT.
But DAMN! Hands down Mrs Trump is HOT, she is gonna make one great First Lady.
Some day I may tell you about the "Wheels up party" the Secret Service used to do when Air Force One took off but that was back in the 80s and things were different back then.
