I go to UpState Hospital once or twice a week for bloodwork. Nothing to worry 'bout.
For me, its only a 15-20 minute ride, though. The main office for whom I work for is located in that area, so I was there frequently . I mainly worked 19 miles north of there on Oneida Lake.

The 330 mile round trip from the ADK is getting increasingly unattractive, especially in winter.

ETA: I usually stay in some rooms that are on the 9th floor of the VA ("Valor Inn") - make it a 2-3 day trip. Doubt those are open for use these days. 330 miles in one day is beyond me now.

Social, economic, or other forms of political pressure? Absolutely. There are plenty of non-violent, legal consequences that can be brought to bear. However, they only work though if people band together.

They've been playing "fair" the whole time and it's gotten them this far. What makes you think we're any less able to do the same?

We're just not exerting effort in the right places. There are widely varying degrees of pressure that can be applied across the spectrum of peaceful action. Yet, all of it requires people band together. As a single person none of this will be effective.

It's all about grouping together.
