The first needs 1911s in it. The second one you can only see "RE" from the word REAL.

Thought it would be near to see and feel the difference between the two.

The one with the silver slide is a G43X.

The G43 has the grip tape & and custom mag release.

The G43X has a longer slide/barrel. but will fit on either frame.

It's a 48. But with the 43 slide on it, It's technically a 45.5. Wha?

Totally agree. If it's any consolation, i did buy my very first 1911 today.
