did you get the shim and the tool with it? The gap between the cylinder and the barrel is supposed to be set at .006 the tool allows you to remove the barrel and swap it out with others.
For some reason I think you know all about your new gun, and you are just showing off to make us all jealous. So like the title says I picked up a fan Wesson today. I got a new to me Dan Wesson model 715 in 357 magnum. Anybody know anything about these?

It was $549. Came with soft case and leather holster, no factory hard case, no spare barrels and no tool kit or shim. I’m starting the search for the tool kit and shim so I can make sure the cylinder gap is ok. This is a gun I plan on leaving the way it is and appreciating it for what it is.If you don't mind sharing, what did it set you back?
I’ve spent all day on google learning about it. I think I got a deal for $549. I didn’t know that dan Wesson ever made revolvers, I only know them for what they do under CZ with 1911’s I just saw the name dan Wesson and jumped on it as I figured a dan Wesson that shoots for under $600 is worth it, and I had the feeling I would regret not getting it. I still have no clue when it was made. For some reason I think you know all about your new gun, and you are just showing off to make us all jealous.
Nice find, enjoy. Mow you NEED the stainless 715 and more barrels to keep it company.
Show off.Sorry, but there is no disputing the real “ Ultimate Dirty Harry Gun”
