Thats like saying that a bipop is a grip, because you could hold it. I still think if we had good lawyers they could get us vfg's back if they were the handle of a flashlight. From link you posted...
(emphasis added). But hey, if it's not a grip it's not a grip, right? Good luck!
Thats the way I would see it. Otherwise they could just carry around a pistol ar upper and say that everybodies' ars were sbrs. pistol barrel/mech tech thing = upper, or am I not seeing this right?I think if it's configured as a rifle, they'd have to charge you according to rifle laws.
My reasoning is this. They cannot add a pistol barrel and remove the stock just the same as they cannot saw your rifle barrel and say that you have an SBR.
THIS!!!! Get a concrete answer on this. When I built my ar, I bough the lower on my 21 birthday (yes, actually on my birthday). I then assembled the lower parts kit and added the hook trigger guard and spur and then stuck the thing to my threadless rifle upper. Did I have a pistol at any point? Of course not, especially since I don't have a pistol (and hense a pistol upper). Is an AR lower an unregistered pistol ? Lots of people make pistols out of them. Why is a glock lower any different ?
I have no clue how you would fix it. What I'm getting at is why can , with no pp, we get an ar lower, which are commonly made into pistols, but cannot get a glock lower, without a pp, even though both are "other". That's what I mean.No. How would you fix a mag on a Glock lower? How would you load it even?
