As the title i am planning a AR9 build, i got all the parts including a TNArmsCO 80% lower i got on sale for like $23. Partly finished the lower but now second guessing if it ok to use for a AR9 build some people tell me that polymer lowers can't handle it.... I also got a P80 556v3 lower i used for my AR15 Other build i put about 40rds through with no issue...

Polymer lowers are fine for .223. There’s even beefy .308 ones now. Definitely ok for 9mm. I have their lower as well, but I bought the finished one.

This. They are absolutely proven with .223. I'm just not familiar with .308 but I bet they are fine on that, too. 9mm is pew pew, should be good to go!

Not so fast Blimey. The 9mm blowback design requires a heavier buffer, spring, and even a beefed up bolt catch is recommended. I'm just passing on what I read and heed by those that make and sell parts for these things, but by the sounds of it the 9 does a bit more battering than the standard AR.

Not saying it is. But I dont know that I would want a plastic receiver for one anyways. AR9 can be finicky to begin with depending on what you're doing for a magazine solution.
I’ve had nothing but perfection with mine. Glock 19 mags, Tennessee Arms lower. The rest of the lower parts are from Palmetto and the upper is a side charger from Foxtrot Mike that charges on the left side of the handguard.
