Political hangover

Is it just me or is anyone else burnt out?

I would say the past maybe 9 years I have become pretty politically aware and observant. After seeing what Obama was doing I really tried to learn more and become more aware at what was going on. Like reading political articles, listening to political talk radio etc... I felt like everything over the last 10 years was just building up and building up over this election cycle and I was so mentally invested in praying for trump to win and Hillary to end up in prison.

With all the obsessive media coverage, random political conversations with people, the media being exposed for their corrupt propaganda pushing and bias, compounded by the progressive whinning and hissy fits over trump winning and just the general division of the country I'm burned out.

I know the media is going to spend the next 4/8 years continously and obsessively spewing trump hate, and the left is going to just keep beating a dead horse. I know trump and our side is never going to be treated right or given a fair chance

I'm burned out. I feel like I need to tune politics out for a month.

At this point I'm just spending my money and time trying to figure out ways to keep buying ammo and gear without getting my wife too worked up.

I agree. I am still keeping tabs on stupid jill Stein and Hillary. I still worry the globalists will pull something.

Just because the right guy won doesn't mean it's over. Its far from over. In fact trump winning may have sped up the timeline. Its tough to tell because there are so many moving variables.

This is only starting. I am soooooooo looking forward to the next few years. So very exited. Burnt out? Not even close!

I'm acutely aware and still paying attention to it all,- however I have cut down my tv watching by about 80%. Actually considering dropping my tv subscription entirely.

I can honestly say I'm ignoring most political news now. I was obsessed with it prior to the election. Now I can see it's mostly just rubbish; trump won and there is a great deal of crying. I am not madly refreshing news sites, so yes I was burned out and moving away from it a bit. Next 4 years will be nothing but constant butthurt, guaranteed.

I cut out cable news, the newspaper, and social media the last month of the election and since. Stopped talking about politics to friends and family unless I know we're aligned.

Funny how you can still be well-informed. I'll hit a few news websites like Breitbart and Drudge, sometimes look at the Google News and local media to see what the Leftists are saying. Then read some opinions at VDare, American Renaissance, Unz.

I'm starting to write my own opinions more, which helps clarify them. Started a blog on my website, not so much to broadcast but as an exercise to lay it all out.
