That is not a pistol grip.Does anyone happen to know if the Archangel M1A stock in legal in the PDRNY?
It looks like the stock has what would be considered a pistol grip.

The shits definitely hit. It just hasn't blown through the fan yet.At this point you are worried what is legal? Lol
I don't think Boyd's will sell you anything for a semi automatic. They wouldn't ship AR handguards.I wanted to buy a Boyd's AT-One stock for a 10/22 build and they wouldn't sell it to me because it's adjustable.

As long as you don’t have any other features you will be good. I have a LRB M25 in a JAE 100 G3 stock, which is similar to what you are putting on yours.Does anyone happen to know if the Archangel M1A stock in legal in the PDRNY?

The 20 round magazine in it isn't.

Question? Why would you want to fix the mag for a threaded barrel? You will be reducing a vital function to be able to have a non-vital function.I think I may want to lock the mag in place so I can thread the barrel and get a VLTOR stock since these are easily loadable via stripper clips.

Non vital functions. That was my point. Ultimately the choice is yours of course if you value that over overall functionality. Not just a threaded barrel but to have a VLTOR stock which has a pistol grip and telescoping stock.

Not knocking you or anything. Just putting it out there in case you didn’t consider it. You lose combat reloading for topping off, malfunction fixes that require a simple removal of the magazine to get back into working order... Things like that.
Most people don’t consider that. They focus on other things instead.
When I first got my Scout I wanted to do the same. My plan was to remove the mag release paddle and epoxy the mag in place in a GI fiberglass stock. My reloads would have been with clips in the stripper clip guide. My barreled action arrived at my FFL and they would not release it to me with a threaded barrel. I explained my plans and I was told they asked the SP about the same set up I was planning. The reply was they would make the arrest and let the courts figure it out. As much BS as it is ..... I ended up with a faux FH in place from LRB. It's quicker to exchange mags than use the stripper clip guide anyways.I think I may want to lock the mag in place so I can thread the barrel and get a VLTOR stock since these are easily loadable via stripper clips.

This is one GS of a few near me. I will clarify this a little more. Epoxying a mag into a fiberglass stock was the issue. The response from the SP was the reason for the GS action. A law suit would put them out of business. I cannot fault him for his decision. I have known this fellow for years on a first name basis. He has always been very good to me.Sounds like your FFL is a douche nozzle. Similar in fashion to removing your mag release on an AR, removing the mag release paddle should be acceptable.
A lawsuit from whom? The state police cannot sue anyone. They can arrest but it would be thrown out of court if a magazine was epoxied to a stock. This is one GS of a few near me.
