PSA Not Selling to NY Anymore?

I placed an order on PSA's website on Thursday of last week. My card was charged, everything seemed normal. Today the order was cancelled and no reason was given.

The order was for 1 lower parts kit and a 9mm complete upper. Both items are still in stock on their website. A friend of mine ordered the same things (parts kit and an upper) in August and had it delivered to his door within a week.

I asked the customer support in the chat thing on their website and they said they didn't know why it was cancelled but that they would try and have the reason emailed to me at some point.

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried ordering similar items from PSA in the past week and had any success.. I'm hoping they're not droppin us because NY gun laws suck and are scaring them! I mean, they wouldn't even sell me a lower parts kit?!

They pissed me off a couple years ago when I ordered a bunch of lowers. They cancelled me and told me they don't ship lowers to NY even though it was perfectly legal. I called them and argued with them till blue in the face and they refused to ship to my FFL. Pissed me off.

I refuse to buy from them. They bitched out like a bunch of cunts and bent over when that animal AG James was threatening companies. Instead of telling her to fuck off, they bent over and asked for lube.

I love these companies that tout how they are pro 2A and huge supporters but will bend over at the small threat.

I put PSA and Optics Planet in the same category of shit companies. One step up from FUDD cunts.

My dad just ordered stuff from them two weeks or so ago. He’s cheap so that’s all he would buy no don’t like them and if it was anything with a lower in it they won’t ship lowers to nys.
nothing says they won’t ship what you ordered to NYS on their site.

Yeah, I looked at that page too and also asked their support person what rule it breaks. I know they won't sell lowers or completes to NY, I already thought they were lame because of that. I don't understand why they canceled it and their support didn't either. Now I'm stuck with a PSA 9mm lower I got on Gunbroker. Wondering if a Spikes Tactical or other 9mm uppers will fit the PSM 9mm lower I already bought.

They say it's only recommend to match their 9mm lower with their upper but I'll bet others will work. Anyone have any idea what 9mm builds are compatible with each other or ever come across a source online?

I went cheap with some of the builds I planned when I stocked up on a bunch of lowers in July/August lol, spent 2K on a buncha different lowers so I could have fun building for a while.

Right. I went through that page and counted. There are 32 other states they can deal with without blinking an eye and a few with much less restrictions. But at least you're not Maryland. I couldn't even imagine wanting to deal with Delaware or Illinois.

I can look it up but in one of the new "laws" receivers are now classed as rifles in NY. I still do not know if I can sell them still.

From my experience and others their customer service is terrible. Good luck.

I thought that was a false flag and lowers were GTG. Many thought they weren’t and are now selling them again. Don’t take my word for it though.

Apparently, their internal "fraud alert" systems marked my order with a high potential fraud score and automatically cancelled it. Have to wait 5-7 days for my refund then they said to try again. They wouldn't tell me what made it look fraudulent though.

However, I do use a VPN and I use 'virtual' credit cards through privacy.com (which basically look like prepaid cards, I think) so my guess is it was one of those or a mix of both that triggered it. I've been using a VPN and virtual cards for years and this is the first it's seemed to be an issue.

I'm thinking about going with a Foxtrot Mike 9mm upper instead now anyways. PSA did not impress.

I wonder if it has something to do with the new credit card coding system for gun stores. Proceed with caution because they are now reporting suspicious activities to the authorities. The credit card company likely flagged it and has already done so.
