Pulling bullets .. dang miss fires ..

I have had to pull bullets before. Not that fun when you need to do a hundred or more.

TFW you don't tighten down the lock ring and don't notice until 100 rounds later you can visually observe the bullets seating way too deep.

That was a fun bullet pull, and no locker room banter was said at that time.

If I had to pull a bunch I would get a collet puller if I wanted to save the bullet. Otherwise the above video would suffice. Just being careful not the futz up the threads of your press.

But I have never had to pull more than a couple of bullets. Because when I am running I check charge weight and OAL at regular intervals. First I do every 1, then every 5, then every 10, then every 25 or so. Only increasing the interval when I feel good about the consistency.

I have never pulled bullets for mistakes. I had a bad lot of LC (5.56 LC97) brass that would fail at the web. I pulled 700 bullets and tossed the brass.
