True, but the implications totally scare the shit out of liberals. That's priceless. Remember, they're the ones afraid of PopTarts.70 hours to print the receiver and barrel? That does not sound cost productive in the least and far from a "rapid" prototype. Even with fixture building I bet you could plug that out in 1/10th the time on a lowly 5 axis center.
They need to stop wasting time with plastic. They would be better suited working on how to create objects made of graphene on an industrial level. That stuff is amazing.
There really wasn't that much plastic in it. The barrel and receiver were aluminum the FCG steel. Doing additive with real metal is very slow and expensive at this point of the game.
