GNAP
.40 S&W
Between leg/back cramps and nightmares, last night was total crap, I was up and about permanently at 3:30 am, at the range by 4:15 am. Due to the early hour, not a sole was anywhere to be found, I had the whole facility to myself.
Today was a Christensen Arms Ranger 22 day, I brought the 3 I own,
#1 - black
#2 - tan
#3 - green
I shot primarily CCI AR Tactical, I also shot about 70-80 rounds of the CCI Clean-22, to try out.
#1 - shot fine, no issues with the rifle or the ammo
#2 - shot fine, no issues with the rifle or the ammo
#3 - shot excellent, no issues with the rifle or the ammo, as usual the green unit, is the stellar unit of the 3. While #1 and #2 are very good shooters, #3 is just a step above, slightly smoother bolt, for me the perfect trigger, it just works.
CCI AR - shot perfectly, no issues about 450 rounds
CCI Clean-22 - it was neither stellar or terrible, it just basic 22LR ammo, is it cleaner??, Is it more or less accurate?? In all it was average, nothing I’d drive an extra 20 miles to get, but it’s better than the Winchester, Remington or the CCI SV, I already got. 70-80 rounds
It took to about 7:30 - 8:00 am, for my back and legs to settle down, but the range time was excellent as usual. The actual indoor range is not directly heated, so with 10-30* days recently, the range at that time was roughly 40*. I had to stop twice to get my finger tips to warm up, I got back home at roughly 9 am. Target wise a good day, I just finished up clean the rifles and started to print more targets. The range membership has been one of my better life decisions.
