At about 9:30 pm, this evening I headed to the range. It was about 5* outside and about 28* indoors. The whole facility was empty, not a soul anywhere.
Tonight’s rifle was the #4 example of the Christensen Arms Ranger 22.
The ammo used was the CCI HP mini-mags
The new CAR 22 was perfect, not a single issue with the rifle or the ammo.
After sighting it in, a ran 3 of my league target cycles, with very good results. I really like the CAR 22s, the weight, balance and the trigger makes it a very comfortable rifle to use. By the time I finished my session, I’d shot 210 rounds.
As most of the ammo I shoot is more of the bulk type or bulk packaging, I’ve been using the large pill minders packs sold in drug store, 7 sections (i per day), 10 shots per section, so 70 shots per packs.
I great time, a good new rifle, more enjoyable range time, arriving home about 12:30 am on 1/29/22
