Most sites do some sort of "ranking" for post counts. Military ranks are pretty common, but they're used a lot. Anybody have any input on what they'd like to see?

If it were up to me, I'd use military ranks but keep everyone in the enlisted ranks.
Moderators and Administrators get officer ranks.

I guess you guys can be Colonels and Generals.
Bad behavior results in temporary bans and reduction in ranks.

I like the ranks being separated by enlisted and officers, depending on your standing on the site. Forum I moderated/ran years ago did the same thing. Helps you sort out every rather easily.
As for "One of Them" - I thought you all high-tailed it to avoid being one of them? Nobody here will be one of them.
Also, special designation for LEO's or remain anonymous? Since I wasn't as active there, I don't know who is and isn't, or if knowing should even matter.

We'll let LEO come to us if they want a badge/blue line/whatever. It can be helpful knowing who is one because their input on certain subjects is probably more experienced.

Now that I see that ribbon, I kind of like it. Should add other ribbons for service members, if they so desire. Army - Active Duty, Marines - Retired. Shit like that. As with police and firefighters, they're special parts of our society and have my respect.
