Remington 700 new barrel ideas.

A Hart barrel is what I put on my 30-06 Springfield, Rem 700
A Krieger barrel is what I put on my 224 Valkyrie, Rem 700

I looked at the Hart site a bit, I'll look at Krieger. How do you like the quality of each?
Did you send Hart your action or did you just order the barrel? There is a gunsmith local here that claims his specialty is the M700. I want to have a few other mods done but have no experience with this guy.
I'm trying to work a plan out for this rifle but haven't done anything like this before.
I want to build a nice long range benchrest rifle and get into some long range shooting.
Both barrels were installed locally by Dennis VanTassel. The
Hart barrel will consistently shoot 3/4 inch (5 shot) groups at 400 yards. The Krieger barrel is bigger but still MOA or slightly better out to 400 but, I suspect the ammo is the problem with the 224 Valkyrie. I have not taken the time to develop the load. I use the 1000 yard bench rest profile hart barrel and it is 30 inches long. The 168 SMKs are traveling 2950 when they leave the barrel.
