Remington 700 Timney trigger installation issue

Removed the original trigger, No problem
Installed the Timney trigger, No problem

Assembled everything and everything but the Safety works.
It slides into the wood no issues, Safety on or Safety off, but the safety will not move once installed.
I know i need to inlet the stock, but i cant see where to do it.

does anyone have experience with this?

my 700 is a 1968 22-250

It's pushing against the wood stock somewhere. I guess you could mark it with nail polish to find where it's rubbing, then clean it all off with nail polish remover?

If you don't get it set right I can take a picture of one of my stocks and maybe you can emulate what that looks like with a dremel? Let me know.

Wow that would be awesome!
I won't get Back to it until Saturday. But would love a photo of the inside right side of the stock.
(Obviously the side with the safety fora RH Bolt)
