The front sight on my Beretta 92fs is quite yellow and faded, so I was thinking about refreshing the paint in the sight dots. Any suggestions / advice / recommendations? Nail polish? Glow paint?
I picked up some glow-in-the-dark florescence orange paint in the craft department of WalmartThe front sight on my Beretta 92fs is quite yellow and faded, so I was thinking about refreshing the paint in the sight dots. Any suggestions / advice / recommendations? Nail polish? Glow paint?
Heliotrope?Testors model paint, cost about a dollar and comes in any color you want.
You may have to do some mixing for thatHeliotrope?
Nail polish. Never had a problem with it drying out. First coat white, then orange, then white then orange. This successive thin coats. Final coat, clear.
2nd vote for the Testors. Its cheap and holds up well. I use a toothpick to dab it into the dot recess.Testors model paint, cost about a dollar and comes in any color you want.
