Repainting sights

The front sight on my Beretta 92fs is quite yellow and faded, so I was thinking about refreshing the paint in the sight dots. Any suggestions / advice / recommendations? Nail polish? Glow paint?

I picked up some glow-in-the-dark florescence orange paint in the craft department of Walmart

Nail polish. Never had a problem with it drying out. First coat white, then orange, then white then orange. This successive thin coats. Final coat, clear.

2nd vote for the Testors. Its cheap and holds up well. I use a toothpick to dab it into the dot recess.

If you want the original type of paint, you can use lacquer stick from Brownells. It's like a soft crayon. Simple to use. Fills in recesses, wipe off high surface, it hardens after application. Takes a few seconds to do if you need to refresh.

Testors and small hobby brushes. Using orange right now, but it would be brighter if you start with white first. It will be brighter that way.

You can order glow paint for your sights from any online store or LGS.
Or you can pick up some bright color nail polish from the dollar store.
I used the end of a toothpick to put a dab on. simple & fast.

It looks like factory new.
Actually, better than new in my case.
My Shield came new with messed up front sight paint.
