This bill sucked anyway, WHERE in the 2nd Amendment is it written that the citizens of a state have to play "mother-may-I" with owning a handgun, the bill should be one sentence:
"Every legal, law abiding citizen of the United States, has the right to purchase and possess handguns and long guns regardless of their jurisdiction of domicile or residence." There, was that so hard?

Well, I wondered why this bill was going nowhere with over 200 sponsors. I hope this is not true and there are other reasons for lack of progress. Like maybe the healthcare bill, in which the Republicans are trying to do the impossible. We will see. If it does not get done now, it never will.
