Been looking for a while but well seems to have run dry. Cant seem to find anything. If anyone has a lead, drop me a line.
Not a Rossi but Henry Big Boy Steel .357MAG/.38SPL - Southern Ohio Gun
Hard to find them in stainless
I have this exact gun. Would love to have the Taylor take down, I like take-down's.Been looking for a while but well seems to have run dry. Cant seem to find anything. If anyone has a lead, drop me a line.
Wow, didn't realize the Rossi was going for so much! Mine has never been fired, sort of saving it. Going for $800 + gets met tempted...and I would turn around to buy the Taylor take downI've looked at these before. Beautiful gorgeous guns. Unfortunately out of my price range right now.
Want to stay around the $500 range. Looking for a short-barreled SS 357 that I can take out in the woods with me while I CCW my Ruger SP 101. I like the idea of using the same ammo for both.
Seems like pricewise the Rossi is the only thing that would fit the bill.
Just let one go on GunBroker for $835. Which I think is crazy Rossi.

Also 20" (he's looking for 16")
Try the Buffalo Gun Center. If they don't have it in stock, I am sure they can get one for you. Ask for Paul Lyon. Tell him that Steve gave you his name.
Place is not too far. Never heard of them. Is it a store front? Or private?I don't know where you live, but the last time I was at Fur, Fin and Feather, a gunshop in LIvingston Many, Sullivan County , NY, he had a Rossi just like what you are looking for. I do not remember the price, though.
So 4 seconds before Super Bowl halftime I won An auction on gun broker's. Found a nice Rossi 16 inch stainless 357. Comes with a skinner peep site. It's going to go Nicely with my Ruger SP 101. May just become my new get up for deer hunting in New York.
Come to find out Rossi ceased production of all firearms for a while since they are setting up a new factory and retooling it to begin production again at some point in the future.

Very nice. You're holding out on me. Save it for your new little one.I have your guns long lost little brother.
Rossi 62sa in stainless. Brand new in the box from 1986
Greywolf224, where did you hear about Rossi's ceased production? This would certainly explain the tough time finding them. I want a 357 w/blued, round barrel. I found 1 but it is a 16" barrel, I was hoping for a 20". My LGS has it on his "HOT" list with his distributors. Now I'm wondering if I should just buy the 16" and be sure of getting one. I'm always apprehensive about buying ANYTHING that comes off a new production line. The price would be $529 + tax, with no room to move as it' at WalMart!
What do you guys think??
ETA: What are the opinions between 16" and 20" barrel? This will be strictly a range toy.
PolishedI wouldn't mind a SS 38/357 lever gun. Is it polished or brushed stainless?
Does any one know of Big Dog Arms in Roscoe, NY? I reached out to him late last night and was really surprised of a quick response early this morning. He said he is going to check for me. Would be sweet as I can go pick it up myself.
Just wanted to toss in that Big Dog Arms is awesome. I bought my cheapest lower ever from them, $61 out the door. Highly recommended.
Honestly, Fur, Fin, and Feather also. I've been going there since I was a kid being towed along by my father. I stop there at least once a year between fishing and hunting seasons. My grandfather owned a cabin about 2 miles from the shop over the covered bridge in the 60's when my dad was a kid. We still fish there.
