S&W Bodyguard light primer strikes

I picked one up for my Wife this Christmas and finally got to shoot it the other day. I am having a lot of light primer strikes with it using a few different brands of ammo. Has anybody else had this problem with theirs and had it fixed?

Yeah brand new. I Never had to send a pistol in for work before, kinda hoping its something I can fix myself if possible.

Make sure the firing pin channel is clean.

Seems to be a relatively common complaint about these pistols. Do a google search lots to read. I never owned one so I dont know the specifics.

Also check some say not to lubricate the firing pin track.
