Deplorable Me
.577 Tyrannosaur.
My son purchased a LEO trade in. (Used Gun) Looks like it was well cared for. No handling or drop marks. No safety. Almost no holster wear. Internally the minimum wear spots on the barrel and slide. It's got the 4" barrel. Night sights. It shoots just fine. Runs all the ammo from defensive to lead reloads.
Here's the question:
Whenever we slap a full 10 round magazine in (any ammo), the slide automatically closes feeding a round into the chamber. About 400 rounds through the recently acquired used gun (his). 100% repeatability, that slide closes. Is this normal by design? I could see this being of advantage in a combat/tactical situation. Not sure if I'd want it on a target gun/target range.
Thoughts?
