Seeking some input

Finally looking to get a larger pistol to compliment my XDS in 9mm. I have narrowed my options down to either A CZ P10c or Canik TP9SF or the elite. I’m trying to keep it between these two even thought I have considered the P07 and P09....it’s a rabbit hole. I am wondering if anyone had any input regarding these two pistols. I’ve done a lot of googling and it seems opinions vary greatly. Wanted to see what some NYers thought.

That is good to know. I’ll have to try and get my hands on one. A few years ago I believe I handled a PO7.

The prices of the canik and P10c just can’t be beat right now though.

I definitely see a cz purchase in the future. I probably would have came home with it if I wasn’t looking for a carry pistol.

Range use, home defense pistol and carry if applicable, and simply just to have it.

check out tanfolgio great cz clone I've been lucky enough to shoot both the cz and the tan liked the tan much better seemed to be a little better finished. super accurate probably the most used target gun in europe. haven't seen anything coming out of turkey that was worth much but they are cheap

I’ll give them a look.thats promising that the tan was better finished the the CZ!

I can speak to the P10-c.

Picked one up last year. I like it. I've been carrying Glocks for years (work & off, familiarity same manual of arms). But the P10-c I find more comfortable in the hand and out of the box has a good trigger. I'll concede that my Glocks are .40s (again that's work) but I find that the P10-c is generally a great shooter. Wish the job would consider going to them!

Canik.....I have no experience.

At work we use Glock too and personally I just don’t care for them, and I have shot 17s, 23s, 30s and 43s of diffrent gens. It’s good to hear the P10c is a more comfortable glock. I think that’s what CZ was going for because this particular model isn’t necessarily CZ like.....compared to say the phantom.

I understand this sentiment but a large amount of goods and products we use come from China and I don’t plan on tossing out that stuff. If Canik puts out a good product it’s a good product. I’m simply looking at the product not all the baggage attached.

Right but if you have 2 products "both" are "good" and one supports terrorism and the other supports shooting them in the face

Oh also the P10 is amazing, I mean come on it's a CZ . Also the F is now being released

Oh and with all that being said I'd take a canik over an xd any day

If you've owned glocks the p10 may fit in your old holsters. I don't have personal exp with either pistols. I own a p07 and love it, everyone who has shot it liked it as well. Never had any problems with it.

Looked at a P10c threaded barrel version, Canik Elite full size with an rmr, and a PO9 for what I thought was a a very good price. Ended up with the PO9 but I liked both of the other guns. Grabbed the P09 for. 405 shipped to my FFl!

They didn’t have the compact elite or a strandard sf9 to compare to. P10c may be in the future but who knows lol

I would suggest getting a few things from CGW and turn that good feeling dealing into an awesome blaster

Thanks for those suggestions I’ll look into them for sure. It was the last one they had and was the display model, probably should have asked for a discount in hindsight, and the trigger felt pretty good. A tad squishy but light imo. I don’t have any experience with sa/da outside of revolvers(which I love) I couldn’t pass up the real. After transfer $430....just couldn’t beat it!
