Who are they to tell you how to store your things? If they do this , cars , opiates(painkillers), alcohol and anything that MAY cause cancer should be required by law to be locked up as well . All of these kill more people a year than firearms, by far . These people have absolutely no reasonable common thought process. MOST of my firearms are locked up , not because of my 7 and 11 year old children, because of thief’s , drug addicts , knuckleheads and other associated pieces of shit when we are not home. My kids know better because they are EDUCATED. That’s called fucking RESPONSIBLE parenting. My HD guns are never locked up and sometimes my EDC is on my kitchen counter or on my bed/ nightstand,etc. wherever I set it down. I’m fully aware of where it is and so are my children. They KNOW the rules and that’s because I’ve instilled it into them. I have firearms displayed as well and whenever other children visit, we have “ the talk” with them. Again , RESPONSIBLE PARENTING. But I shouldn’t have to explain myself. Come get me cocksuckers
