People are so fed up with the elitist establishment that we'll vote any outsider in. Our politicians have completely lost the plot. Instead of serving the public the have become a ruling class, and in so doing have destroyed this country. But what comes around goes around and paybacks a bitch.

It's was populist. What he said isn't the point, nor even who he is. The point is that people are so desperate for a change they will vote for people like this. A vote for Kid Rock is like throwing a match into the pile of gasoline soaked rags that is Washington DC.
I'd imagine he'll get shut down and froze out even more than Trump. And he's probably got some crazy ideas and not much into details or strategy. But... the point is he shifts the culture rightward. If the shitlibs are having conniptions over Kid Rock then they might not be after the rest of us.
