Setting up reloading stuff.

I started to get things set up for my brother last night, we need to go pick up some stuff at Mayhoods and some nuts & bolts to anchor another press, powder measure, Lyman case trimmer.
We need some powder, primers, projectiles a can of Hornady one shot.

Any one in broome, chenango or Delaware county have any powder or projectiles that you will not ne using? If so I might be interested in them.

Just as any FYI Franks that you wanted to stop at carries a decent selection of reloading components.

How far is Frank's from your place?


I brought a six pack of the Hornady lock n load conversion kit to retrofit his RCBS Rock Chucker kit in to the Lock N Load system. I need some more bushings to get all of his dies set up.

222 Remington, 7mm08, 30/06, 6mm/244, 308, 243, 35 Remington.

I would call a head there first to make sure he has what your looking for. His equipment selection is spotty. He usually carries a full assortment of Sierra & Honaday bullets. He usually has CCI and Federal primers and his powder selection is usually pretty good.

His shop is about 15 minutes but coming from the south you will pass real close to my place.

Miles...what about Runnings in Gloversville? They have some stuff and also a good selection of hardware if he needs to get nuts and bolts. etc.

..Gloversville directions here. They don't have a big selection, but there are some components.

I will try my best I would barley be able to get there before the close on the week days because of work. But if you want to stop by for a beer afterwards I'm game.

It's tough to find a store around w/ a decent selection of reloading stuff. Frank's is about the best for powder/primers and RCBS dies and some Lee parts....a few scales/powder measures and a couple presses. They are in the process of remodeling another place and moving this summer, maybe they can expand the reloading dept. then ! The new place is on the right as you come down the top of the hill BEFORE you get to the traffic circle on 30 North. There is a sign out. Always makes me chuckle as I drive to Frank's and there is an animal preserve across the road !

I have some 9mm brass you can have. Also some 44 mag .429 AE hollow points for little to nothing. Cortland County. I can meet you at Mayhoods. I go there from time to time. About an hour for me.

I will let you k ow when we go to mayhoods. After we get done hunting we will be going to Binghamton for a few things.
It will probably be tomorrow or Friday.

Russ tomorrow we will be going over towards Coventry then south otselic looking at a couple of properties, could I meet up with you later in the day tomorrow after you get done.

Russ thank you for the stuff, that property we looked at isn't any thing we could use. We have one up in North Norwich to go look at.
We want a little place for a hunting camp and where he can set his 5th wheel up during the summer.
We want a cabin with septic and water. And room for a couple of hook ups for other guys who need a place to hunt that have campers.
