Serious question. So you get this 80 percent lower and assemble it minus one complete hole that houses a pin. Like the ones that are by the trigger.

I think its a pistol once you mill out the 20% of material and its ready for parts .. but could not be because that is not technically a receiver .. the upper would be .. so why buy a 80% . way to many laws ..

Well in this shit hole of a state you almost need an 80% to go to an FFL to be legal.
True it depends on what you get charged for transfer fee. Our local guy is claiming free transfer with $50 purchase, I have yet to test this out. Also it depends what your intensions are. If your upgrading the trigger assembly I still think you'd be a head.

These things are designed so you can produce a weapon off the books. Unless you really enjoy building it though, it is pointless to get if you are going to register it.
For that just get a regular Glock.
Sorry I have to much at stake to get caught with a unregistered Handgun. I would have loved to build one but I can't So I'll just build a 1911 from a 100% receiver
