as a matter of fact I was there last week not to take a course although I did do a course there about 10 years ago very professional people. if u can get into a class I would highly recommend it. I have friends a relatives there so I can't recommend a hotel Epping is not a big place but it has all the chain places a a gazillion pizza joints so food is not a problem depending on where ur coming from Massachusetts can be a real pain traveling with guns and ammo. we drove to Albany and across Vermont into new Hampshire to avoid any problems in the bay state. if I recall they give a 10% discount on ammo for people taking the course. I was there to look into an armorer's course in October

I have spent a metric shitton of money at the Sig academy over the last ten years. Stayed on Hampton Beach. Ate at a whole bunch of places.
My other half is from that area, so I'm there a lot.
There's a neat little place about a half-mile west on 27 that slings a decent breakfast. Goody Cole's used to be a great BBQ place, but they've changed hands a couple times and quality has gone WAY down hill.
Ammo needs will depend on the class and the instructor. For most of their classes, they don't allow steel core or steel case.

Its been a few years since iv been there but it was great. I took a few rifle classes there and had a great time. I brought my own ammo, but cleared it with the training coordinator first. I have friends in the area so I usually crash with them as opposed to a hotel. Along those same lines i packed my own food to go there but i do know theres a couple fast food places up the road as well as a sub joint. The instructors were laid back but safe, and expressed the materiel in a manner everyone could understand.Facilities were ON POINT! and take a fist full of cash for the Pro Shop lol. I believe since iv been there they have added a few new indoor ranges too so i am excited to get back someday.

Looks like great fun and training to me.. didn't see where it exactly is on the Web site though..
Taking Pistol 103 and 104. I'm more interested in taking some of their advanced stuff but they kind of want you to go through their progression. Skipping 101 and 102 because my gun handling is pretty squared away. 103 may be a refresher but I can always use the work.
I've been wanting to get up there for some time now and I am excited to go.
