Squirrel hunting

I made this for my wife years ago and she no longer shoots, so I decided to forgo my favorite squirrel gun, dust this off, confirm the sights and have at it. Its a .32 and if I remember correctly, 15 gr's of FFF and it zero's at fifty yards. So its off to the range. Hah, I noticed her engraved initials on the thumb piece, MRE, is, like, Meals, Ready to Eat!!! Yeah baby!!!!

This reminds me, I have an old .32 caliber muzzle loader I used to use for squirrels decades ago. Maybe I'll clean it up, take it to the ramge, then use it a bit this season. Mines not a flintlock, mine's a caplock.

I can't remember the last time I shot this gun, but it still shoots true, very sensitive trigger, took a couple shots to get in accord with it and I think I'll leave them be. Not too bad though, iron sights at 50 yards with old man eyes. HAH!!! Image is a touch under life size, aim small, miss small!
