Truck drivers need a Constitutional education in order to protect themselves as they travel from fiefdom to fiefdom in the former United States. Trucking companies should collectively protect their drivers if they expect to keep them. My brother use to drive in some shit neighborhoods in Queens and Brooklyn, he hated those routes, never saw a NYPD cop or state trooper until he got out of the shit zones, then they busted his balls because they could.

WTF was he thinking? He's in New York. He's visiting from Texas, which is in The United States. Things are different in this country. Heck...the driver probably believes that he has U.S. constitutional rights here. Ha!
I guessing the trooper gave him the typical bullshit pitch about him wanting to search the truck, and the trucker reluctantly surrendered his rights. And,...now, BOOM, he goes to jail in New Yorkistan!
