Straight pull Ar15

So what is involved in making a non gas system straight pull ar15 ? Is it cheaper than building a semi auto upper? And all the toys would be allowed on this ? I'd like to go w/ a left side charging handle on the bolt....

Wouldnt weld the barrel,,,just turn or move the gas block so it covers the hole

I would rather have the ability to change mags quickly . I'm just kinda day dreaming about the straight pull, but I am curious about what is involved/costs. I'm torn between which is more important in MY opinion ( not stomping on anyone else's) ......p/g vs detachable mag

You want a single action AR,, with a mag you can change? Sounds kind of boondogalish,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,buy a bolt gun with a mag, buy a lever action with a tube

This is an option also. Uses a standard bolt. I have one in 5.56 and one in 9mm and both are excellent.
